I love hockey and i have played it for years!!
This year i have been cheering for my favorite team "the penguins"! Some people ask me why I like this team and I tell them "well I went to school with Sydney Crosby" We live only a 5 minute walk away from each other and my brother use to play road hockey with him everyday after school.
I hope that the Penguins win the cup this year so that i will get to see it again. Last year i got to see it because Joey DePenta who plays on the Ducks won it; he also lives in my neighborhood. I am good friends with his sister!

Last time I watched hockey on TV the Montreal Canadians got so many goals! A lot of people were cheering for them and their wishes came true! It was Boston against the MC. MC were so much better. They were scoring goals constantly!

My favorite player in hockey is Saku Koivu but he is hurt on his foot. It is really boring for him that he can't play in the play offs and get the Stanley Cup. Also, he was the captain of the Canadiens but now it is Alex Covolen who is replacing him until he gets better. Go, Canadians! Go!
