SNOW DAY 2007 !!!

My Snow Day

“The schools are closed!” announced my dad while rushing up the stairs. I was half asleep in my bed but I could still shout “YAY!” There was only one slight problem, my parents both had to go to work. My mom said “I will call my secretary and ask her if I can cancel my day and put it for tomorrow.” “HURRAY!” my brother and I shouted. We were going to decorate the Christmas tree. It was going to be a blast!

A Snow Day

I woke up in the morning,
When everyone was snoring,
I took a glimpse out the window,
And turned on the radio,

Eastern Township is closed,
"Hurray" I yelled out loud,
I knew today,
Would be a snowy day.

My Snow Day

That day I was happy because I missed school and mad because I missed my piano lesson. I also wanted to see my friends and my teachers. That day I traded things with my brother Steven so that he would give me his calendar full of chocolates. Than I played ps2 with my other brother Brandon. After that I traded him 6 chocolates from my calendar full of chocolates for 4 hockey players cards. That was a nice day!

I Love Snow Days

On the first snow day of the year, I went outside all day! I went sledding and made a giant jump. It was so much fun. But I also did one hour and a half of shovelling the driveway. It was so tiring. I also had a very long snowball fight with my sister! That was fun. After that me, my sister and my brother were jumping on each other and tackling each other. At six o’clock we went in for supper. I had a super day.

The snow storm One dark morning I glanced at my clock. It was 7:00. I thought my clock was wrong. I went upstairs and I looked at the VCR. It was 7:00.I Thought my mom had slept in. I went into her room and she told me there was no school. I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes in the morning to shovel in my front yard. In a while my mom and me had to go out but this time I went out for 1hour and 25 minutes. Then I went inside to play on my P.S.2. JR 4g


My Snowstorm

My snowstorm day was Monday 3 December 2007.

I was sleeping and I had to go at the bathroom. When I got up I saw

my dad looking out the window. I asked him "Why are you not getting

ready to go to work?" He said there was no school and I said

"YES !!" And I want to tell my sister and she said "YES !!" too.

That day my dad, my sister and I went outside to play. It was fun!

***On my snow day some people came over and woke me up. I said "Good morning" to my mother and she told me that some people were coming over to play. So I went and woke up my sister! I love Snow Days!!!

On the snow day of December 3rd 2007 I woke up to a beautiful site. T'was so nice the sun! I ran to the TV and was happy to see a little black line that was saying "ETSB: ALL SCHOOLS CLOSED". I ran to my mom saying it has just come to my attention that on that all schools for ETSB were closed! I was so terribly happy to yell it out, even though it was not a good fact at all. I had to go to her work ... yet I was happy. It was probably because of all the chocolate she had let me eat and then all the donuts she bought me throughout the day! But by 5:15 I was happy to say it was time to go home. We went to our house, I jumped in the snow happy to yell out "I love to play in the snow!"
